PTT Global Chemical to delay conclusion of talks on Indonesian project

PTT Global Chemical (PTTGC) is postponing the conclusion of talks with Pertamina (Jakarta) on their $4–5-billion petrochemical joint venture project in Indonesia to early next year from the end of 2014 after revising the investment plan, PTTGC confirmed to CW today.  PTTGC's chairman Prasert Bunsumpun, who is also chief executive of parent PTT, says PTTGC and Pertamina are postponing the decision by six months.   Bowon Vongsinudom, president and CEO of PTTGC, told CW in May that the project will probably be completed after the original schedule of...
