Indorama Ventures Indonesia has awarded a contract to Chemtex to supply a new polyester production complex in Indonesia. The new plant will be designed to produce 750 m.t./day and is due onstream in the first quarter of 2013. Chemtex will provide the complete polymerization plant and design downstream spinning facilities. It will also be responsible for the utilities and offsites. Indorama says it is the world's leading polyester producer, making purified terephthalic acid, polyethylene terephthalate bottle resin and polyster...
