BASF appoints new president director of BASF Indonesia

BASF says that Chan Choong Phooi will be appointed as the new president director of BASF Indonesia effective 1 January 2013. He will succeed Henry Choo, who will retire on 31 December 2012. Chan joined BASF in 2010 with the integration of Cognis. He currently serves as the v.p./care chemicals Asean and South Asia at BASF Thailand. Before joining BASF, he was v.p./care chemicals Asia/Pacific and managing director of Cognis Thai.
