JGC-led consortium awarded contract for $9-billion refinery and petchem complex in Vietnam

JGC (Yokohama, Japan), Chiyoda (Yokohama), Technip, and Korean contractors GS Engineering & Construction (Seoul) and SK Engineering & Construction (Seoul) say that a joint venture formed by the five firms has been awarded a contract for the previously announced Nghi Son Refinery & Petrochemical project in the Nghi Son economic zone, in Thanh Hóa Province, in northern Vietnam.
