UOP Opens Gas Processing Membrane Manufacturing Site in Malaysia

UOP, a Honeywell subsidiary, says that it has opened a manufacturing and operations center in Penang, Malaysia, that will produce natural gas membrane elements to support the growing natural gas market in Southeast Asia. The site will manufacture UOP Separex membrane systems, a technology to remove impurities from natural gas.
