Toyo Lands Indonesian Refinery Propylene Contract

Toyo Engineering says that together with PT Rekayasa Industri, Indonesia’s state-owned engineering company, it has received a $300-million, lump sum turnkey contract to build a residue catalytic cracking offgas-to-propylene plant for Pertamina (Jakarta). The unit will be built at Pertamina’s Balongan, Indonesia refinery and will have capacity for 179,000 m.t./year of propylene. Completion is slated for mid-2010.
