Surfactants Maker Acquired

Kuala Lumpur Kepong (KLK; Ipoh, Malaysia) says it has agreed to acquire Dr. W. Kolb (Zug, Switzerland). The deal is expected to close in March. Family owned Kolb says it is Europe’s largest producer of nonionic surfactants. The company has production at Hedingen, Switzerland and Moerdijk, the Netherlands.
