Showa Denko and Marubeni Plan Chemical Alumina Complex

Showa Denko says it has reached an agreement with PT Antam (Jakarta), Straits Trading Amalgamated Resources (Singapore), and Marubeni to establish a joint venture that will build an integrated chemical-grade alumina plant using bauxite ore from the Tayan district of West Kalimantan, Indonesia.
