Regions :: Southeast Asia Qatar Takes 25% Stake in Petchems Project in Vietnam11:04 AM MST | January 17, 2012 | Natasha Alperowicz Qatar Petroleum International (QPI) will hold a 25% share in a previously announced $4-billion petrochemical project at Long Son, Vietnam, according to PetroVietnam. Other partners in the venture in addition to PetroVietnam are Vinachem, SCG Chemicals and Thai Plastics and Chemicals. Do Van Hau, CEO of PetroVietnam said, after the signing of an investment agreement with QPI, that the partners plan to establish a joint venture to build the complex.
