PTT Global Chemical temporarily shuts LDPE plant

PTT Global Chemical (Bangkok) says it shut down its low-density polyethylene (LDPE) plant at Map Ta Phut on 10 July, for repair. The company expects the repair work to be completed within four months. The company will use existing inventory to supply customers during the plant shutdown. The company's olefins plant, which supplies ethylene to the LDPE plant, will also be shut for planned maintenance, from 1 August to 13...
