Indorama Reports Rise in Profits and Sales

Indorama Ventures (Bangkok) reported a 49.4% increase in profits for 2011, compared with 2010, to baht15.56 billion ($510 million). Net sales for 2011 increased 92%, to baht186.09 billion Indorama’s polyethylene terephthalate (PET) business reported sales of baht129.6 billion for 2011, compared with sales of baht55.8 billion in 2010.
