Firmenich opens flavors plant in Indonesia

Firmenich, a leading, privately owned flavors and fragrances company, has inaugurated a $30-million manufacturing facility in Indonesia. The plant at Karawang, near Jakarta, will be based on proprietary flavor encapsulation technology Durarome. The plant forms part of Firmenich’s push into the emerging markets.
