Evonik opens expanded plant for personal-care products in Indonesia

Evonik Industries has opened an expanded plant for the production of raw materials and additives for personal- and household-care at Bekasi, Indonesia. The company says that it is increasing capacity for surfactants and esters used in hair-care, skin-care, and industrial applications. The investment aims at better serving the personal- and household-care industries in Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand, Evonik says.
