Regions :: Southeast Asia Dynea sells its Asia/Pacific business to Japanese polymers group AICA9:00 AM MDT | October 12, 2012 | Natasha Alperowicz Dynea Chemicals (Helsinki), a leading global supplier of adhesives and surface solutions, today announced it has agreed to sell its Asian division, Dynea Asia/Pacific, to AICA Kogyo (Aichi, Japan), a leading Asian polymer chemistry company, for €150 million ($194.7 million), in cash on a debt-free basis. Dynea says that the sale of the Asian operations fits in with its strategy of concentrating resources in its European business and, in particular, its phenolic resin activities.
