Cognis Oleochemicals Renamed Emery Oleochemicals

Sime Darby Plantation (Kuala Lumpur) and PTT Chemical International (Singapore), a subsidiary of PTT Chemical (Bangkok) have rebranded and renamed their Cognis Oleochemicals joint venture as Emery Oleochemicals (Selangor, Malaysia). Cognis sold its 50% stake in Cognis Oleochemicals, an equally owned joint venture with Sime Darby Plantation, to PTT Chemical International in July 2008.
