Regions :: Southeast Asia Celanese and Pertamina to form JV for fuel ethanol projects in Indonesia7:44 AM MST | March 5, 2013 | Deepti Ramesh Celanese says it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with state-owned energy company Pertamina (Jakarta), and will begin the detailed project-planning phase for the development of fuel ethanol projects in Indonesia. Pertamina is working with Celanese to jointly develop synthetic fuel ethanol projects in Indonesia utilizing Celanese's proprietary TCX ethanol process technology. The two companies had entered into a joint statement of cooperation in July 2012 for these projects. Celanese and Pertamina have completed the objectives of the joint statement...
