Brenntag Buys Asian Distributor

Brenntag has purchased EAC Industrial Ingredients for 160 million euros ($202 million), a distributor active in south and southeast Asia, the company says. EAC Industrial Ingredients (EAC; Bangkok) is a subsidiary of The East Asiatic Company (Copenhagen). The business has 800 employees in 27 locations in nine countries, and is expected to record 220 million euros ($278 million) in sales this year.
