BASF appoints new managing director in Vietnam

BASF says Petrus Ng will be appointed as the new managing director of BASF Vietnam (Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park, Binh Duong Province) effective 1 February 2013. He succeeds Jirawat Thongbai, who will take over the position of director, care chemicals, at BASF in Thailand. Ng started his career with BASF in 1990, and has held several key management positions in Malaysia and Singapore; he currently is responsible for strategy and projects for the care chemicals business in Asia/Pacific, based at Hong Kong, BASF says.   BASF has been active in Vietnam...
