BASF appoints new heads of crop protection and construction chemicals in Asia

BASF says it has appointed Paul Rea as senior v.p./crop protection, Asia/Pacific, effective 1 November. Rea succeeds Raman Ramachandran, who has been appointed the new chairman and managing director/India (Mumbai). Separately, BASF has named Christian Mombaur as senior v.p./construction chemicals, Asia/Pacific, also effective 1 November. Mombaur succeeds Mark Volmer, who will leave the company.
