Asahi Kasei starts manufacturing nylon-6,6 compounds in Indonesia

Asahi Kasei Chemicals (AKC), an Asahi Kasei subsidiary, says it has begun the manufacture of Leona nylon-6,6 compounds for automotive applications, in Indonesia, starting this month. The nylon-6,6 compounds are being manufactured at the production site of AKC's Nippisun Indonesia (Bekasi, Indonesia) joint venture with Nippon Pigment (Tokyo).
