APIC 2011: Asian Industry Is Upbeat; Hambrecht Sees Changing Landscape

The Asia Petrochemical Industry Conference (APIC) at Fukuoka, Japan, attended by more than 1,400 delegates, heard today about the region's huge growth potential. APIC, whose theme this year was Realizing New Opportunities Through Petrochemistry, noted that, with the exception of Japan, which was impacted by the recent earthquake and tsunami, growth prospects in other member states are very good.
