Lynas to commission rare earths plant in Malaysia, first new source outside China

Lynas Corp. (Sydney) said today that it plans to start production at its rare earths plant in Malaysia next month and reach full capacity by the second half of next year. Speaking at today’s AGM, executive chairman Nicholas Curtis said the company has built the world’s biggest and most advanced rare earths plant, and it is “ready to deliver on our vision of being the global leader in rare earths for a sustainable future”.
