Technip Selected for Venezuela Cracker

Technip has been awarded a letter of intent to supply technology and engineering services for an ethylene plant that will form part of a previously announced petrochemical complex at Jose, Venezuela, CW has learned. The complex is being built by Polimerica (Caracas), a joint venture between Pequiven (Caracas) and Braskem (São Paulo) (CW, Dec. 22/29, 2008, p. 15).
