Rhodia to Close Acetate Filter Tow Plant in Venezuela

Rhodia has said today that it will close its acetate filter tow manufacturing facility in Valencia, Venezuela by year end. The facility employs about 120 people. The closure of the plant represents further progress in the execution of Rhodia Acetow’s program to “enhance the competitiveness” of the business worldwide, the company says.
