Regions :: South America :: Brazil Yara and OCP Form Fertilizer JV in Brazil10:21 AM MST | December 13, 2011 | Lindsey Bewley Yara International (Oslo) and Moroccan phosphate provider OCP (Casablanca, Moroccos) say they will establish a 50-50 fertilizer joint venture in Brazil and will enter into a phosphate rock supply agreement. Under terms of the agreement, OCP will gain a 50% interest in Yara's existing terminal and production plant at Rio Grande. Through the jv, OCP and Yara will have access to the existing port, terminal and storage facilities, which they plan to develop through investments in the short- to medium- term.
