Vale denies suspension of Argentina potash project

Vale (Rio de Janeiro) says it has not suspended its Rio Colorado potash project at Mendoza, Argentina, but that it has instead extended construction workers' end-of-year break while it evaluates changes to the economics of the project.  Vale issued its clarification following reports that suggested the company had suspended work on the $6.00-billion potash project.
