Solvay says it has completed the previously announced acquisition of the specialty chemical assets of ERCA Química (Itatiba, Brazil), a subsidiary of chemical company ERCA (Grassobbio, Italy), enabling Solvay to more than double its surfactant production capacity in Brazil and to expand its access to one of the world's largest personal care and agricultural chemicals markets.
