Solutia to Expand Saflex Interlayer Capacity in South America

Solutia says it is optimizing and expanding its Saflex polyvinyl butyral (PVB) interlayer manufacturing capacity in South America as part of its strategic plan to continue serving the architectural and automotive glass markets in the region. Solutia currently has six manufacturing sites worldwide that produce Saflex PVB interlayers and encapsulants, including a facility at San Jose dos Campos, Brazil.
