Sika to acquire Brazilian waterproofing materials company

Sika (Baar, Switzerland) says it has agreed to acquire Lwart Química (Lençóis Paulista, Brazil), a supplier of waterproofing products in Brazil. The financial details of the deal have not been disclosed. Lwart generated sales of 33 million Swiss francs ($36.5 million) in 2013, Sika says. Lwart supplies waterproofing products for the construction industry in Brazil, with a portfolio comprising over 300 products, Sika says.
