Sanofi-Aventis to Acquire Top Brazilian Generics Firm for €500 million

Sanofi-Aventis (Paris) says it has signed an agreement to acquire Medley (Campinas, Brazil), the leading generic player and the third largest pharmaceutical company in Brazil, for a total of about €500 million ($665 million).
