Odebrecht-Enagas consortium awarded contract for Peru gas pipeline

Peru has awarded to the Gasoducto Sur Peruano (GSP) consortium, formed by Odebrecht (Salvador, Brazil) and Enagas (Madrid), a contract that covers the design and construction of a 1,000-kilometer gas pipeline, as well as its operation and maintenance, over a 34-year period, GSP announced. The pipeline will transport gas from the Camisea fields deep inside the Amazon region to Mollendo on Peru’s southern Pacific coast.
