Mitsui Chemicals Acquires Stake in Brazilian Agchem Company

Mitsui Chemicals says its Mitsui Chemicals Agro (Tokyo) subsidiary has entered into a share purchase agreement with Agroinvest Kayatani Administração, Empreendimentos e Participações (São Paulo, Brazil) to acquire an 11.89% stake in agchem company Iharabras S.A. Indústrias Químicas (IBIQ; São Paulo). Financial details were not disclosed.
