Evonik Industries Plans Cosmetics Ingredients Plant in Brazil

Evonik Industries says it is going ahead with the planning phase for a new production facility for a wide range of ingredients for cosmetics and consumer goods at Americana in the Brazilian state of São Paulo. The planned facility will involve a “mid-double-digit million euro” investment, the company says. Production capacity of undisclosed products will exceed 25,000 m.t./year with start-up scheduled for early 2014.
