DuPont Opens Seeds Research Center in Brazil

DuPont has opened a seeds and traits R&D center in Porto Nacional, Brazil. The research center will plant its first crops in June and be fully operational by 2008, DuPont says. The center will focus on developing winter nursery capabilities for corn and soybean breeding, drought tolerance and heat stress research, and products for the local Brazilian market.
