CTNBio Clears Monsanto's Bt Roundup Ready 2

Monsanto says it has received approval from Brazilian regulators for planting of the company’s Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) Roundup Ready 2 soybean seeds. The approval by Brazil’s National Technical Biosafety Committee (CTNBio) clears the way for commercialization of Monsanto’s first biotechnology trait to be developed specifically for a non-U.S. market, Monsanto says.
