Braskem defends offer for Solvay Indupa, negotiating next move

Braskem has defended its offer to buy out the minority shareholders of Solvay Indupa, which was rejected by Argentina’s stock regulator, the Comisión Nacional de Valores (CNV), on 3 December 2013. In a statement issued on 6 December, the company says it is discussing the issue with CNV in order to find a path forward....
