Braskem, Quattor Confirm Talks of Possible Alliance

Braskem and Quattor have confirmed they are in the initial stages of discussing a possible merger, giving rise to the possibility of the new entity having a monopoly in domestic thermoplastic resins production. It would also be the second largest resin producer in the Americas.
