Bolivia's YPFB breaks ground on urea project

Construction has started at Yacimientos Petrolíferos Fiscales Bolivianos's (YPFB; La Paz) previously announced ammonia and urea project in the department of Cochabamba, in central Bolivia. The investment in the 650,000-m.t./year urea plant at the Bulo Bulo complex in Carrasco is estimated at $843.9 million, YPFB says. The plant is expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2015.
