Bayer plans to invest about €100 million ($155 million) at sites in Brazil, its biggest market in Latin America, through the end of 2009, says CEO Werner Wenning. Bayer will invest €40 million to modernize and upgrade plastics precursors and crop protection plants at its Belford Roxo site, and partner companies will invest an additional €55 million at the Bayer industrial park at Belford Roxo, Wenning says.
