Amyris Narrows Third-Quarter Loss, Secures Project Funding from Brazil

Synthetic biology firm Amyris (Emeryville, CA) posted a net loss of $44 million it its third fiscal quarter ended September, 30, compared with a loss of $62 million in the same year-ago period. Sales increased 50%, to $26 million.
