Brazil biodiesel output up 41% in April

Brazil produced more than 1.15 billion liters of biodiesel in the 5 months to May 2013, according to figures released yesterday by Abiove (São Paolo), the country's association of vegetable oils industries. Total production between January and May was 13% higher than during the same period in 2012. Production in April set a new monthly record of 257 million liters, 41% higher than the same month a year before, Abiove says.
