MeadWestvaco acquires Brazilian pine chemicals company

MeadWestvaco Corp.’s subsidiary MWV Specialty Chemicals says it has completed the purchase of Brazilian-based Resitec Industria Quimica, a producer of products for the rubber, lubricants, food and adhesives markets—mainly serving the Latin American pine chemicals industry.
