YPF's petrochemical sales up 23% on higher peso-denominated prices

Yacimientos Petroliferos Fiscales' (YPF; Buenos Aires) sales of petrochemical products—domestic and exports—totaled 1.48 billion Argentine pesos ($178.3 million) in the second quarter, up peso276 million year-on-year (YOY) as a result of an increase in peso-denominated prices, according to the latest company results. The company's petrochemical sales to the domestic market increased 10.8% YOY, to 216,000 m.t., and exports during the quarter fell by 36.2% YOY, to 55,000 m.t. YPF's second-quarter overall downstream net revenue totaled peso33.1 billion...
