The company was joined by Reiner Haseloff, minister-president of Saxony-Anhalt, Germany; and other dignitaries at the event. The new line adds 50,000 m.t./year capacity at Schkopau. This world-scale unit will begin operation today and will supply Styron’s tire customers around the world, the company says.
