New Ammonia Plant Planned for Argentina; KBR Awarded Licensing Contract

Tierra Del Fuego Power and Chemical Co. says it will build a 547,000 m.t./year ammonia plant at Tierra Del Fuego, Argentina, and has selected KBR to provide licensing and process design. The facility will utilize Argentina’s abundant natural gas resources to produce high-yield fertilizer for the region, the company says.
