Syngenta says it has received regulatory approval to sell its quadruple stacked corn seed in Argentina. The Agrisure Viptera 4 seed adds Syngenta’s MIR604 corn rootworm trait to its triple-stack corn seed, approved in November 2011, that includes the Bt11, MIR162, and GA21 traits that collectively confer herbicide tolerance and above-ground insect control. The triple-stack trait will be available to Argentine growers in the 2012/2013 season, but the company did not specify when the quadruple-stack trait...
