Argentina Okays Syngenta Quadruple Stack Corn

Corn acreages are growing in Argentina, Syngenta says. Syngenta says it has received regulatory approval to sell its quadruple stacked corn seed in Argentina. The Agrisure Viptera 4 seed adds Syngenta’s MIR604 corn rootworm trait to its triple-stack corn seed, approved in November 2011, that includes the Bt11, MIR162, and GA21 traits that collectively confer herbicide tolerance and above-ground insect control.
