CF Industries Advances Fertilizer Project in Peru

CF Industries (Deerfield, IL) is advancing a previously announced nitrogen fertilizer project in Peru. The company has awarded a lump sum front-end engineering design (FEED) contract to Technip for the complex, which will be Peru's first major nitrogen fertilizer producing facility and serve the domestic as well as other markets in the region. The complex will be built near the city of San Juan de Marcona, Peru and will be designed to produce 2,600 m.t./day of ammonia and 3,850 m.t./day of urea.
