Typhoon Forces Taiwanese Petchem Producers to Stop Production

More than 30 Taiwanese petrochemical producers including Formosa Plastics (Taipei) and Nan Ya Plastics (Taipei), who have operations at Kaohsiung in southern Taiwan, have stopped production at their plants because of Typhoon Fanapi, say press reports.
