Showa Denko to acquire Air Products’ high-purity chlorine business in Taiwan

Showa Denko says it has decided to acquire Air Products’ high-purity chlorine business in Taiwan, in order to strengthen its special material gas business. Taiwan Showa Chemicals Manufacturing (Taipei), a subsidiary of Showa Denko, has reached an agreement with Air Products San Fu (Taipei), a subsidiary of Air Products, to acquire Air Products San Fu’s high-purity chlorine business including its production facility located at Kaohsiung, Taiwan, Showa Denko says.
