ScinoPharm to Invest in U.S. Biologics Firm

Active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) manufacturer ScinoPharm (Shan-Hua, Taiwan) says it will invest in Tanvex Biologics (Irvine, CA), which specializes in the development of biosimilars and biobetters, as well as the provision of contract research and contract manufacturing services for biologics. ScinoPharm's investment is in the form of tangible assets, intellectual properties, as well as cash, the company says. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
